So here are the scrrenshots qu requested. 1 -13 from buttom to top. It would be very helpfiul to increesethe resolution default value to 1024x768px. that would solve the issue produced by the dock in general. The issue comes from an overlap between the buttons and the dock placed at teh bottom. As a quickfix you can move teh bottom to the left to process teh installation or change the resolution to at leas 1024x768 px via displayy settings if you like to install the beta version of ubuntu. Can confirm that issue. Are you useing virtualbox to test the iso or is it installed on a rela machine?

press CTRL+ALT+T to open the terminal sudo apt get update;sudo apt-get -y upgrade apt-get -y install dde-dock sudo reboot Tell us if you arte able to solve it that way.

Do not have this issue here. So dde is able to show icons on desktop Update your system and check your graphic drivers, please.

I don't think so. There are still some bugs dde20e on deepin doesn't have. The uninstall option for apps in the launcher isn't working by now. That's just an example. On the other hand there are 28 bugs open here. They should be analysed and solved in an idial world, before dde ubunrtu remix con be considered as stable.

In general i fully agree this topoc. By using kdes installer together with deepin live cd there are some problems. For example if you intall the iso in a virtual machine the resolution is to low to be able to hit the buttons on the bottom of the installer without moving the dock to the left or to the rigt. Allthoug it is possible to install dde by using the iso this isn't a good expereiance for beginners.. If you need it I can send you a scrrenshot but it is much more easy to beleve it :-D
