OK, totally understand and will do the manual labor. Thank you, and thank you for the great software! Close the ticket, please.
Yes, that is a workaround. The thing is I have a lot of my own collections for easier movie browsing. Like I put all Anime movies in one collection I call "Anime", instead of having several different anime-type collections "Chost in Shell" and "Akira" and so on and on. And for Example in "Alien" collection I include also Prometheus, just to make browsing easier. And having done this for a long time, some of my collections are older than some that are in TMDB, and might have bit different movies....
Multiple Movies Sets with the same name
Thank you Rob. Another improvement idea: maybe the scraper could use the language selection when finding the poster? It seems there are for example some Finnish posters in TMDB, which could be preferred here. Like The Road to Eldorado or Tremors or Aliens 2.
MC seems to scrape only one title for each movie, and that title in my case is in Finnish.

Music video scrape fails
<createdate> in nfo after Rescrape is false?
Corrupted data base?
OK, that 3.7.4.4. worked! Thank you, please close the ticket.
I'll try. My MC says "you're aup-to-date", but it must be a clitch.
TV Show Scrape fail
OK, please close the ticket! Thank you for your help!
Sorry for the late reply, here too. Holidays... E:_Elokuvat\ is the root folder under which I have several subfolders like: E:_Elokuvat\SciFi\ E:_Elokuvat\SciFi\Star Wars\ E:_Elokuvat\SciFi\Star Wars\Star Wars 3\ E:_Elokuvat\SciFi\Star Wars\Star Wars 4\ etc But I will try the .nomedia for these two bad boys. Please go ahead and close the ticket.
Adding the years as suggested did the trick, thank you! I just wonder why the unscraped movies didn't show up as unidentified or with false names, as usual. Anyway the Tenacious D trick did not work. I added this to preferences/common settings/exclude folders from scrape: E:_Elokuvat\Musikaali\Tenacious D and still got unsuccesful results. I tried removing the space from the path to this: E:_Elokuvat\Musikaali\Tenacious_D and still a failure. Any ideas?
Only 4/7 files in a directory get scraped
Thank you, #1 did the trick so I did not try anything else! Just replaced the installation with a new one and copied only the settings. Scraping seems fast. Janne
OK, thank you. No rush here, everything basically works and this not stop me from doing anything. Something weird somewhere anyways. Maybe outside MC? Between the chair and the screen, or in windows or IMDB or... Attached a screen cap. Janne
Yes: Seinfeld. Three text languages in an episode MKV container: English, Finnish, Swedish Sopranos. Three text languages in an episode MKV container: Finnish, English, Swedish. Now with the abovementioned settings I do a scrape, and MC says Seinfeld has sublang: fin, and Sopranos has sublang: fin. Still, scrape for Seinfeld is in English and for Sopranos in Finnish. I deleted the whole Sopranos series (TV Show & Episodes), and got the show introduction in english, and episodes in Finnish. Weird,...
Actually, I might be on to something here: I did a rescrape for Sopranos as well, and they turned out in finnish! With the same settings. Let me browse into this... Janne
Thank you gentlemen! (@olavinto: tällä mennään...) Success, ticklet solved! Now I have: <xbmctmdbscraperlanguage>en</xbmctmdbscraperlanguage> <xbmctmdbscrapercertcountry>fi</xbmctmdbscrapercertcountry> And scraping took place in english. Cheers, Janne
OK! This is rather interesting, as I deleted the config.xml, started Media Companion and did a scrape with the default options. I have English Windows, so where does this "fi" come from? Keyboard settings? And how to change it, other than editing the config file? Thank you Rob! Janne
TV Show naming language mismatch
OK, thanks! Appreciate the help. I moved the uncanny root folder structure. But still no Pink Panther. First I got this when I pressed the REFRESH-button: """" 1 folder/s missing or no tvshow.nfo: E:_TV-Sarjat lapsille\The Pink Panther Do you wish to remove these folders from your lisst of TV Folders? """ I said YES. Then added it from the Root folders, I got this, again: One Or more errors were detected during scraping. See below for details. * To disable seeing this, turn off General Preferences...
Here you go! (Sorry my answer took this long, I was on a vacation).
