I have added some features to the latest upload: * Light background toggle * Ambient lighting toggle in case high specular highlighting causes saturation and white out * Mismatch-only residue dentils switch. Sparse is better if it makes differences obvious. I am also doing code cleanup as I see things. Since 2017 there have been innovations (and learning on my part) in the Java programming language.

This has been removed in the latest version, and that menu item will not reappear until further notice.

Hello. Has this changed? Can one obtain clone statistics at this time? NOTE: I am not associated with the "ransfoil" project. Thanks

Although untouched for a few years, the CAA is getting some attention lately. I wanted to show this to some other people, and decided to look a bit more closely at some things. In doing so I found some problems which I have addressed. I will upload a new deployment/downloadable shortly. I have also offered the code through github. Over time, I may transition fully to that, but have no plans for that currently. Thank You

Recent re-examination has shown me that the Cylindrical Alignment App had serious problems with its mouse interactions. I have just fixed that in code, but not yet released any changes for download. Had I realized this earlier, I could have addressed it any time over the last 3-5 years. If anyone is using the viewer, please provide feedback. Thanks

"Cylindrical Alignment App" is the successor to "Cylindrical BLAST Viewer". This newer version (codename: "Metalograde") is using an updated look, as well has having been ported in two new directions. The new directions are JavaFX and NetBeans platform. JavaFX has been attracting talent (according to some links I have seen) from Java3D for some time. As a project directly supported by Oracle, it is not so forgotten as Java 3D. At one point, actually a few years ago, I found that I could not run this...
