while encrypting it says waiting and encrypting back and forth fast, what is it waiting for and can I speed it up so it doesn't need to wait?

I ran veracrypt to encrypt my system partition and passed the test. it said to back up and that I could resume later so I clicked resume later went to bed, tuned my pc on and the veracrypt password screen showed up even though I passed the test yesterday so I pressed escape and upon logging it it said I failed the test. I ran the backup opened veracrypt selected resume processes and it said there is no partition encryption prosess to run, clicked it again and it says an instance of the veracrypt...

when I type my password in all I see are stars, seeing it helps me type it in correctly, how do I turn the stars off?

it says warning windows does not appear to be installed on the drive from which it boots this is not supported. this is true because otherwise after resetting my motherboard can't find windows and I do need to reset the bios occasionally. please support it because there are so many problems with bit-locker

I can't boot windows from the drive it's on because resetting my bios erases the boot file that is on the windows drive and I do need to reset the bios occasionally. please support it because there are so many problems with bit-locker
