Some things I'd like to do with rpl's source code

Once I get comfortable working in C++ and C, I intend to take a crack at working on a derivative of rpl--more like a continuation of rpl, since the derivative will hopefully, depending on rpl's license, be made up of a revised version of rpl's source code. Things I would like to add to rpl
