Subject: Automating 2-page logins. In Auto-Type Help, under "custom window sequence/associations" there is the standard statement containing keypress commands such as {USERNAME}{ENTER}. There is an additional statement that begins with "Auto-Type-Window". It is not clear to me if this feature is meant to work only with Global Auto-Type. I refer to 2 page logins where the first page requires {USERNAME}{ENTER}, while the second page requires {PASSWORD}{ENTER}. Can this login process be automated? I...

I'm trying to write a correct Auto-Type-Window instruction. My example is a 2 step login. The first page has the company logo. The USERNAME box has gray text "Email or Username". The required action is {USERNAME}{ENTER}. What is the correct Auto-Type-Window statement to deal with this type of page? Thanks, Hatchling

Thank you. I have another focus question. It relates to the 2 columns: groups column and entries column. KeePass V1 is not aware of the location of the cursor until one of the entries/groups items is clicked. Also clicking the scroll bar brings focus to the column holding the cursor. I ask this question because I almost always must scroll to the correct group and then scroll to the correct entry. Clicking on something in the desired column is necessary first. I'm aware that both my questions have...

Thank you for your suggestion. it is true that my ability with Auto-Type is still limited. For a Global Auto-Type operation, (as I understand it) a text document containing hundreds (potentially) of entries may be necessary. Would this "loss of focus" behavior in V1.X be considered something to be fixed in future versions, or does it make sense in the overall operation of KeePass? Would version 2.X behave differently? Thank you! Hatchling

Using the latest version 1.37. Windows 8.1 on a PC. Selecting a particular entry brings up the web site URL at the bottom window. Clicking on the URL opens up the browser to that web site, usually to the Login page. Then, the cursor is placed in the USERNAME field. At this time, bringing up KeePass onto the top level, (to select Auto-Type), I see that the focus on the originally selected URL is gone. I have to reselect the correct entry before I can Auto-Type. Of course, if clicking the URL automatically...

Hi, Sorry if this topic has been discussed. It would be convenient to have a class of "Entry" that displays lines of text that can be easily placed onto the clipboard. An example would be to copy a credit card number to the clipboard with one click. This feature would make it easier to insert common information into random on-screen fields. Can this be done already using the standard Entry? Thank you, Hatchling

Found information about why this trouble existed. Somehow FWB installed itself directly into C:\Program Files(x86). No subdirectory was created. The main programs list in Control Panel must have activated a number of different uninstall programs. Searched for all files on C:\ containing FW or fwbuilder and deleted each one manually. Then ran a reg cleaner to delete the registry keys. Don't know how this unintended mess happened, but I believe the problem is solved. Thanks, FTF
