hello, i have the problem that i have to change the password for our windows domain every 30 days. in keepass i have about 20 entries where i currently copy the new password. now i have read that you can make a master entry and let the other 20 entries reference to it. it is only about the password field. i have now created the master entry, then edited the first of my 20 entries, selected the TOOLS button on the lower left to insert field reference - in password field. in the next window i search...
I have found a simple solution for me. We only have 2 keycloak servers, so if I come from 50 different URLs (which are the productive ones and others from development), I only end up with 2 different keycloak servers. I now call the actual URL from Keepass and am then redirected to one of the two URLs. For these two URLs I have made 2 entries in Keepass where the login data is stored. As soon as I go to login, I will be redirected back to the original URL. Maybe not fancy, but functional :-)
Hello, I have the following problem or question. We run different portals with different URLs. Now we have implemented a SingleSignOn service. If you go to the URL http://www.1url.tld or https://www.2url.tld you will be redirected in the URL line to e.g. https://www.sso.tld/auth/realms/..... etc. So in "Kee" in the URL settings I have neither a match with the domain, the hostname nor the exact match. Behind .../auth/realm/... comes the string from which I originally came. How can I map something...
Hello, Paul, in your database you have no internet links. If I open the website from KeePass via double-click, I get the possibility in Firefox to take over the username. If I then say "Copy password" at this point and then insert this in an editor, I get the string {REF:P@I:BF83D5727CEB1D46838C2BC20EC939AD} displayed. So it is not translated by KeePass. I am using KeePass 2.42.1 Now I'm a bit helpless ....
Hello Paul, thanks for the sample database. So far I found out myself. But now there is a problem. In all e.g. 20 entries in my password field there is e.g. {REF:P@I:BF83D5727CEB1D46838C2BC20EC939AD} BF83D5727CEB1D46838C2BC20EC939AD is the UUID of the master entry in which the actual password is stored. If I now open an intranet page, Keepass does not "translate" the placeholders in the password field of the intranet page, but enters the string {REF:P@I:BF83D5727CEB1D46838C2BC20EC939AD}, which is...
Let me get this straight. I create a master entry where I store the domain password. Then this entry must be referenced somehow with the other 20 entries in the password field. Right? Would it be possible for you to send me 2 - 3 screenshots where I can see exactly how this is done (just with sample data and no real data). Thanks a lot!
in german below: Hello, I know I use different passwords everywhere on the Internet with KeePass, but I also used KeePass to cover my intranet pages. The intranet pages are connected via the Active Directory. We are asked to change our password every 30 days. Currently I have about 20 entries in KeePass that have the same domain password. These 20 entries (and there will be more), so I have to touch and change them manually every 30 days. Is it possible in KeePass to search for the password (yes,...
englisch version: I have a problem with a URL from our intranet, which gives me an extra login window for user name and password (similar to only making a website accessible via .htaccess). What do I have to set in KeePass 2.41. so that this window is recognized and filled automatically? Thank you very much for your help. deutsche Version: Ich habe bei einer URL aus unserem Intranet das Problem, das ich ein extra Loginfenster für Benutzername und Passwort erhalte (ähnlich dem, wenn man eine Internetseite...
