If you want to do a SOFTWARE reset on BUTT initial position, Restart your PC, do not run BUTT . Navigate to your c:\users\your user folder\ AppData\Roaming, find buttrc and open in word pad. Edit this section as shown: [gui] attach = 1 ontop = 0 hide_log_window = 0 remember_pos = 0 x_pos = 50 y_pos = 50 lcd_auto = 0 lang = 0 vu_mode = 1 SAVE the file, and now run BUTT From the START MENU – it will appear on your main monitor

excuse typo: Perhaps you could add an option tickbox underneath settings/GUI/Change LCD mode...", and if ticked, save the position to the config file for the next use.
