Sorry about the delay, it works as expected now, and we managed to upgrade to 7.2 using the automated tooling: https://github.com/flathub/com.sweethome3d.Sweethome3d/pull/50 Thanks again for all the good work!
Sorry, I'm afraid that I have no idea. Maybe your hosting provider could help? Otherwise just removing the IPv6 addresses from the DNS would make sure that it uses IPv4. Not ideal, but it would certainly solve the problem.
This is still broken.
Hey Daniele, What would be great is if the plugin could parse the /.flatpak-info if it exists (it's in .ini format), and check for network being available in the shared key of the Context section: [Context] shared=network;ipc; This would allow the plugin to say that network access is disabled, instead of the network not working. I don't plan on adding network access to the SweetHome3D as the programme itself doesn't use the network.

I have no idea at what level the problem might be, and I really don't have the time to debug it I'm afraid. Your best options is to ask the nautilus developers about it with as much details as possible to allow replicating the problem.
I first was under the impression that it was enough to install it into hicolor (the default scheme) with the name “image-vnd-djvu.{png,svgz}” but never could have it be recognized by naming alone. My solution was to add the icon name in the mime type spec. The icon name start with image-vnd.djvu, not image-vnd-djvu: "icon elements specify the icon to be used for this particular mime-type, given by the name attribute. Generally the icon used for a mimetype is created based on the mime-type by mapping...
Why is the installation of mime-types definitions controlled by "--disable-desktopfiles"? shared-mime-info isn't my implementation, it's the reference (and only) implementation from Freedesktop.org, the same loosely knit group of developers that wrote the shared mime info spec. I just took over maintenance of the mime definitions in 2004 because I was adding so many entries for video and audio types.
Distinguishing the spec and the implementation is rather moot. The implementation is the reference and only implementation that knows how to create a binary cache of mime-types, for various libraries like GLib or Qt to use. Without the reference/only implementation of update-mime-database in shared-mime-info, there's really nothing to be done. The spec doesn't say which mime types should be left alone because shared-mime-info's freedesktop.org.xml is the "canonical" location for most mime-type definitions....
About the question of "what's the point of allowing to define mime-types", it's used for defining new mime-types, rather than overwriting ones that have been defined for 16 years. This is what the chemical mime-type project does for example, define mime-types that aren't common enough to live in the shared repository: https://github.com/dleidert/chemical-mime
I really don't see the point of discussing how shared-mime-info is implemented which seems to be the main point of the comment. Priority doesn't work as you think, priority applies to the magic not the mime-type, which is why it's an attribute of the magic element not of the mime-type: " magic elements contain a list of match elements, any of which may match, and an optional priority attribute for all of the contained rules. " Depending on which order the files in /usr/share/mime/packages your DjVu...
Why are the evince people messing up with a registered mime type? I'm the shared-mime-info maintainer. In their diff they claim that they've waited one year and that it should be okay... This is not their decision!!! Why do you ship a mime-type file for djvu when there's been one in shared-mime-info since 2002? Even if the one in shared-mime-info was inaccurate, why not contribute to shared-mime-info instead of providing a mime-type that conflicts with shared-mime-info? FWIW, image/vnd.djvu+multipage...
Seeing this as well with the current CVS version.
By default the program will look for a kernal file under the following locations... This is unclear in English. A better phrasing would be: By default the program will look for a file named "kernal" in the following locations... As for the Songlength file again you can use any file by changing the Songlength Database setting in the ini file, but I agree the man page is not very clear for this point. I'm not sure why the binary blobs would be looked up in the user's directory, by default, but not...
Hard to setup 3rd-party files
I had to enable debug to find the URL of the page to open to get that "please verify your phone number" page. Should be this: https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn It would be nice if esniper printed this URL (and not one of the local variants as I tried to use) instead of a dump and a log.
Using SDL_VIDEODRIVER=dummy dosbox [BINARY] isn't good enough for my use case. I'd like the output of the command to go to the stdout (and with the error code passed back as well?) and for dosbox to exit when the command has finished running. The use would be to wrap otherwise unavailable commands for modern operating systems, for example, wrapping SNASM68K[1] in Linux, as done in this DOSBox fork: https://github.com/pascalorama/snasm68kdb/issues/2#issuecomment-304620776
Duplicate of https://sourceforge.net/p/dosbox/feature-requests/53/ and https://sourceforge.net/p/dosbox/feature-requests/93/ ?
cvs diff -up [files] is the command for unified diffs.
That works. Note that a unified diff is much easier to read and apply, as it includes the surrounding code which makes it easier to apply to changed files. I've attached the unified diff patch to my comment. Thanks!
