Can you provide full log files?
Miki, Lol, it wasn't supposed to be a joke, but yes, I did miss the last sentence of the post. Sorry about that. I think I also misunderstood what you were trying to do. Sounds like you are using SymmetricDS to create the tables at the target, and you want it to create the target table without the column? The transform you are doing above only filters the DATA being sent (thus the null in the value), it doesn't impact table creation. Same thing with the trigger exclude columns (which I know you don't...

Ali, Just checking one thing. Are you really running 3.0.10 or was that a typo? That's pretty old, and just wanted to validate the version. The 670 error is happening because all ofyour worker threads (http.concurrent.workers.max= 20) are in use, and another client is attempting to get in to sync. Most recent versions of SymmericDS do an HTTP HEAD request to "reserve" their connection and then transfer the data to be sync'd via an HTTP PUT. If you are truly running 3.0.10, I'm not sure that old version...
You can filter out columns right on the trigger. Add a comma delimited list of column names to sym_trigger.excluded_column_names for the table./trigger you are synching.

So, I'm guessing your are synchronizing from postgres to mysql? 3306 getting connection refused - basically means SymmetricDS is attempting to connect to your database via JDBC on port 3306 and the mysql instance won't allow it to connect. Check the mysql docs for allowing remote connections, check firewall, etc.
Can you provide me a sample of the json being returned by the web service request? If you want, just turn on input and output logging for the entire flow and send me the log files. Greg W.
