The solution "fixes" the problem of displaying a negative number, but you can't add anything to the form after that, for some reason. Example: where $random is negative yad --form --field='Test.:NUM' -- "$random"'!-180..180!0.001!4' \ --button="Not Shown":2 \ --field="Also not shown":TXT

I was just accepting defaults during this build, for the most part. If you want something else to be the default, you can require that the prefix be set explicitly if you want, or maybe set it to something else. Where did you think it should go? I have a number of things installed in /usr/local

OK. That's weird. The packages were showing up as v.20.03 in Synaptic. But now that I've uninstalled everything, they show up as v. 16.X in the Debian repo, which is way behind. No point in talking to them I guess. I must have gotten the build from somewhere else. Sorry for the trouble. On the plus side, 20.03 seems to build fine in Debian. I'll take it for a spin at some point.

    The build command was: ./configure --with-contrib-plugins="all" --enable-fortran --disable-dependency-tracking

Can someone talk to Debian maintainer to get addons restored for 20.03?
