Ok, it's not as easy as I thought, this PR breacks the script :-( maketuxfont.py has dependencies on properties removed from the standard lib and without any real equivalent: from string import letters. I don't think I really understand what this script aims to do so I won't be able to fix it. Is it still really useful? @songhuang might be able to answer this question.
