At first, I thought I had these matrices saved as .set and .study files, but upon further digging they were just matrices created from .set files in which EEG.data was manipulated with an eeglab function.. I didn't use the toolkit's routines for generating FFTs because based on the tutorial, some of the parameters were fixed and I had completed my calculations with different parameters than were used in the toolkit. (If I recall correctly, the epoch length was fixed to 1 second if using continuous...

Excellent! I would be more than willing to send you some files that I have and work with you on further developing the toolkit's functionality. The function I used takes epoched data from 1 electrode and computes an FFT over each epoch, averages the spectra from these epochs, and has 2 outputs per subject: spectra = power spectra (mean power over epochs), in dB at each frequency and channel (64 total) freqs = frequencies of spectra (Hz) (0-250) There are 2 conditions in my experiment (eyes open,...

Hi Joe, I am hoping to use your toolkit to conduct a PCA on frequency spectra obtained from a simple resting-state eyes-closed, eyes-open experiment. I have already conducted an FFT on the EEG data with a larger epoch size than the defaults in the toolkit, so I will not need to use the toolkit to do that even though I know it is capable of running FFTs. For each subject, I have an electrode-by-frequency Matlab array, where each row contains all the frequency data for a single electrode. I am wondering...
