    Kamil, Hello and welcome! Giles

it seems to be caused by the most recent commit, 09685dde. If I revert that and rebuild, "make check" succeeds.

Like this? compose vec start=-40 stop=130 step=10 set var=( $&vec ) echo Variable is: $var But the variable is probably redundant, as the vector values can be used directly.

The example circuit uses the XSPICE "xfer" element. I believe it is the only way that Ngspice can use an S-parameter ("Touchstone") file. But the first thing in its manual page is that it is only useful for AC (and trivially also DC) analyses. I vaguely recall from the discussion thread linked by Holger that LTSPICE's E-source with FREQ option is said to work with transient simulations. Transient support might derive an impulse response from the parameters and convolve it with the inputs. My guess...

It seems likely that you are trying to build from source, and need to install development packages for the libraries that ngspice uses, as well as the binary library packages.

That can not work, because .iF is handled during parsing of the netlist, a step that happens before simulation. Node voltages like v(c.e) are only defined during simulation. After simulation starts the circuit can not be changed, except for device parameters. But it seems that what you want to do is define the current between nodes c and e as a function of the applied voltage and an external node voltage, That can be done by a single G source with an expression that uses the condition operator '?'...

The manual states (11.3.10) that a minimum of 50 timesteps are used in transient simulation.
