I'd agree, but I see no way of editing my own ticket on SourceForge :) Which might be seen as another argument in favour of GitHub, but that's irrelevant. As long as this project will use Git for version control, I'll be happy.

This project repository is SVN, not Git. So if one wants to upload a patch via Git (GitHub or otherwise), he has to first do the svn checkout, convert the history to Git, make a patch, upload it somewhere... See the problem? To make things worse, different converted Git clones would have different histories with different commit IDs and such.
While this looks like an obvious fix, I'm usure of the side effects this could cause (so far found none). Additional insight would be appreaciated.
GMChannelRouter exhausts MIDI channels on twice the rate
Implemented, please adopt: https://github.com/frozenspider/tuxguitar/pull/5 Both MIDI import and export now respect track names. Note that track names are exported in UTF-8 encoding, and non-ASCII characters might be misinterpreted when importing MIDI file into different software. E.g. MuseScore will handle them properly, while Guitar Pro 5 will parse them as gibberish. P.S. Please move to github?... https://sourceforge.net/p/tuxguitar/feature-requests/61/
It seems that reverse-engineering of that file format isn't yet available publicly. The best I could find is this discussion: https://musescore.org/en/node/247546
Implemented already, please close the ticket.
