Sourceforge is kinda... old. How about moving to github? You can use issues as a place for bugs and discussion items. The readme is just as good as a wiki, and its a ton easier to contribute to a project.

I also have this problem. Its been a problem for years.

Maybe the program should warn you before closing if there are encrypted files left...
