It has cleared up. The icons selection window was outside the visible area of the monitor - for whatever reason. That's why it felt like the program was crashing. By chance I tried Shift+WIN and the arrow key and moved it back into the visible area. Is it not possible to set it so that it does not open outside. Or is it possible to reset the window positions? This is embarrassing that I bothered you guys with something like this. Sorry about that and thanks for trying to help. Keepass Version 2.53.1...
