    I've the same issue as the Op, despite specifying a Working Directory location it is ignored for some operations despite the program knowing a custom path is specified and stored in its configuration data... The behaviour runs counter to my expectation...

    It seems any file mentioned in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths" will produce a shortcut when drag & dropped via the left mouse button to a new location (instead of the file being moved/copied). Any file with a name that matches a name mentioned in that section of the registry, won't extract from an archive when dragging and dropping the file from 7zip to a new location. I have de-selected the "use for removable drives only" option in the "Working Folder" section...

    Winrar handled this scenario perfectly. All files were temporarily extracted to the drive I specified before being copied to their destination.

    https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/628080126630035466/1019223704145760387/unknown.png I've configured it to use another partition but each time I attempt to extract a large file I get a error regarding insufficient space on the C:\ and when checking Windows Explorer there is indeed 0 bytes free on the C:\ (until I dismiss the errors in which case 20GB's is immediately freed up)
