setting brightness/contrast in your profile has your scanner itself do the brightness/contrast adjustment This sounds completely inconsistent to me. Either the profile does brightness/contrast adjustment OR the scanner itself does it. As long as the "Apply brightness/contrast after scan" is not checked, the brightness/contrast settings in the profile should be greyed out. Hi, I found the same (?) issue in a german multipage pdf file, especially on the last two pages of seven. The text is recognized very good, but the marked areas all stick in the left upper corner of the page, not where the text is. Version: NAPS2 7.3.0.0 Windows. Hallo bitfarm17, da habe ich gleich zwei Rückfragen: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, Bitfarm auch ohne aktivierten Windows Script Host zu betreiben? Der ist bei mir aus Sicherheitsgründen deaktiviert. Und wenn nein: warum wird ein deaktiverter WSH nicht gleich bei der Installation aktiviert? Wenn der vom Programm selbst installierte Windows-User NTFS-"Vollzugriff" braucht, warum wird dieser Vollzugriff dann nicht gleich mit eingerichtet bei der Installation? Freundliche Grüße

Hallo! Ich habe als Admin die GPL-Version 3.5.0 installiert und hatte gleich zu Beginn Probleme: Die beiden genannten Dienste starten nicht. Und ich kann zwar ein Dokument einscannen, aber nicht speichern. Es heißt dann immer "Fehlernummer 69 aufgetreten". Viel falsch gemacht haben kann ich nicht, da ich außer der Installation nichts getan habe. Wie kann ich diese Installation zum Laufen kriegen? Vielen Dank.

Hi, this is still unexpected behaviour for me. XCA does not protect the private key of a CA certificate from unintentional deleting. In my opinion XCA should complete refuse deleting a private key of an existing CA certificate. There should only be the way of deleting the certificate on the certificates tab (where I can see what depends on this certificate) and then deleting the private key in a second try. Perhaps you could add this functionality to XCA? Thank you very much.

I'm sorry, still - nearly - no reaction. When I open the last file, the output size setting changes from automatic to no change, which was my setting. But the preview is still the "Welcome in ...", not the pdf file. And no reaction when I "update" or "go". I copied it into the installation folder, next to the old exe file, which still works. Edit: There is a difference when starting the .exe file: With the beta 304c Windows asks for permission to execute and says "Unknown Publisher".

Hi, here we have a german .mo file for the PdfBookShuffler\share\locale\de\LC_MESSAGES folder. Some parts of the GUI are still in english, there were no entries for these parts. I was unsure about words with _File (lines before words). Are these for keyboard shortcuts? I tried to imitate them in some cases, but not in all.

Hi, Of course, staying visual is better. But for standard copy or laser printer paper mostly you only get the paper weight on the product. Thank you for the new version. I copied it into the program folder, and it starts, but seems it cannot open pdf files. Yes, I am in Windows 7 64bit.

But this post says something else (creep adjustment 1mm for the whole document): https://sourceforge.net/p/pdfbooklet/feature-requests/16/#0cff This seems to be usual. Hi, is everythink ok with creep adjustment? I just played a little bit, and I get a very big offset on page 1 in large documents (120 pages) and layout "Single booklet" and creep adjustment 1 mm. In smaller documents (8 pages) the creep adjustment for 1 mm is nearly invisible. Seems the number does not mean the total creep for the whole document but per page? Thank you.
