Okay, I know this sounds stupid, but well.. as a sudden idea I unplugged my controller and it stopped doing this. Probably I would have realized this earlier if I can even start the game without DxWnd, but I could not as it just tells me I do not have enough video memory...

I have the Steam version, the .exe is 984576 bytes, have not applied any cracks to it. But strange, as I did not experience those squared blocks. I have attached a few screenshots of mine, running the game in windowed mode. But I cannot really do anything with it, as right away as I start the game, I find myself in the "New game: enter name" screen (the 2nd screenshot in your post) and I cannot do anything but enter my name and select "Continue" as if I want to scroll down to "Cancel", it just goes...

Hi guys, I am trying to get Omikron work on my Windows 10 computer. Graphically it looks fine as with Dxwnd, the game starts fine. However, it looks like it automatically keeps pressing "Enter" because it does not stay in the main menu, it instantly goes to the "new game" menu and I cannot quit unless I terminate the game. Is there any known way to make sure that the keyboard works fine? Tried googling it, but could not find anything (or used the wrong search terms). Thank you!
