Suthiro, The 'Linear regression fit' is the same as 'Fit Linear', which is under the menu Analysis -> Quick Fit -> Fit Linear. This menu entry is visible when your graph window is in the 'first plane' (I don't know another way to describe it). If the window in the 'first plan' is a table, you'll not be able to access all fit options, but just the Fit Wizard.

Hi Suthiro, Are your data defined as 'numeric' or as 'text' in the table you used to create the plot? You can check this in the 'Type' tab on the right side of the table (see attached figure). Regards, Fellype

@Koushik and @LM, could you attach an opj file (with table(s) and graph(s)) here or send it to me at fellypao©yahoo.com.br (don't forget to replace © by @)? @LM, maybe the version of liborigin (3.0.0 - from 2018) shipped with SciDAVis does not support the file format generated by Origin 2019. So, the best that can be done is send a sample project to the liborigin team and wait for possible support in future versions of both SciDAVis and liborigin. @Koushik, I would like to check if to save an opj...

  • Fellype Fellype posted a comment on discussion Help & Tips

Hi Spyradion, Great job. Thanks for sharing it. Particularly, I don't use Windows. But I know that this will be very helpful to both users and developers. Python scripting is a missing feature in the Windows packages since SciDAVis 1.D8. Best regards, Fellype

  • Fellype Fellype posted a comment on ticket #107

This feature already exists, but it is not an automated task. The errors associated with a curve are treated as another curve in SciDAVis (1). Then, in the same way you attached a curve from left to right axis, you must attach the associated errors "curve" to the right axis too. (1) I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. Anyway, feature request #107 could be changed to: when changing the axis of a curve, automatically attach the associated errors to the corresponding axis.

We could put -lc in the qmake file for building the plugins, but what purpose does it actually serve? This question was already made before... and it was already answered (in somewhere in SF...). The fit plugins are intended to supply some non-linear fit (NLF) functions that are difficult to be implemented using the NLF provided by SciDAVis (but it is not limited to be used only for NLF functions) - an exception is the planck_wavelength plugin, that was included in order to provide a better convergence...
