Were there any ideas to make the race algorithm with some changes? In particular, the race could end not at the finish of the leader, but at the finish of all participants in the race. To do this, you can make sure that after the first 1-3 laps, the program stops registering new transponders. And the complete lap times and the place occupied by each driver would appear in the table at the end of the race.
