Any developments on this? Middle button still not working for windows list on desktop. I'm kind of used to using a hot key to get windows list now, but would much rather have the middle mouse button working.
I don't know what is going on.... I've rebooted system (had to after yet another windows update) and mouse middle button on desktop to get windows list has stopped working again. All other middle button functions work ok. This time switching to "Windows Shell Experience Host" has no effect. 'tis really frustrating.
Interesting development.... Opening the Window List (using a hot key, but that's not relevant) showed an otherwise hidden window "Windows Shell Experience Host". I switched to it.... No immediately visible effect, but middle button on desktop now works!
You mean the system tray icon? yes, left clicking that brings up Window List. Middle click switches to next left or right desktop. I've now updated to version VW v4.5 beta 2. Same result.
Using middle mouse button on desktop to call up windows list has stoppped working. Only system change I am aware of is windows updates. Windows 10 Pro, Version 1803 Build 17134.1 Problem occurred immediately after recently installed windows updates. I've tried uninstalling these updates but problem remains. I've had a minor problem for quite a few months with this not working when the system is first booted but have been able to work around the problem by restarting the Windows Explorer process(es)...
p.s. forgot to say... VirtuaWin is an excellent program! Many thanks for your time and effort. Rod.
