Angel Did some further testing and there are also other problems, i only looked at the ifcGuid and now also looked at the geometry and there are major problems with this. I create a zip file with in it the revit files 2018 and 2019 and the IFC output created from these. The openings are not created as it should be (the windows are inside the walls in 2019). In the zip there is also a word document with some screen shots created from the ifc files shown in Solibri. regards Eddy

Angel tested this release and it still is mixing some IfcGuid from different exports. Attached a file that show that the IFCDOORPANELPROPERTIES and the IFCWINDOWLININGPROPERTIES gets new guids every time there is an export. The IfcGuid from the doors and the windows are now staying the same with every export. So this is great. Is it possible to solve this? Regards Eddy

This is common scenario here in the Netherlands (isolation) etc.. Great that you found the specific issue! This seems to be specific to "sandwich" walls, where there is one window that cuts two parallel...

If you take our sample revit file: 1 Yes it always changes. 2 No it is readonly The IFC GUID was created with the first export and the IFC GUID from the WINDOW is set to an other element (the host) and the IFC GUID from the Window is always recreated in the IFC file.

Angel, This is a clear BUG and should be solved by Autodesk NOW. We can not wait any longer. More then 9 months is simply too long. Please start fixing it or give an answer that you will not then i can go further from that. All Autodesk customers who want to use IFC as a standard rely on this ! If you do not get the time and or resources let us know. regards Eddy
