I have a root folder at /dev/sda3 that I'm trying to boot through Win2Grub, to avoid using the duplicate Grub bootloader/EFI partition that I accidentally installed at /dev/sda1 when installing the Linux root at /dev/sda3. I was wondering if it is possible to boot that root through the UUID/PARTUUID, using something like a Grub config. I'm not trying to boot the bootloader, I've already managed to do that with your earlier instructions.

Wait so.. How do I use this? Can't I use the UUID of my root partition to boot into it immediately? Do I still need to enter the other Grub that I have configured and mounted on my second drive?

Okay, yes, that does work. Well, okay, it works, but it boots into my other bootloader, which is a bit unexpected because... Namely, I'm not good with bootloaders. I'm sorry if that was an obvious thing. Separate solution: I was thinking if it's maybe possible to boot off an UUID/PARTUUID (preferably PARTUUID) instead, would that be an option?

e.g, see image attached. The partition encircled in red is the one I want to boot from.

It's an EFI file, but it's not located in my default EFI partition. It's on my other hard drive. When I select the "EFI Partitions Operations" option, the separate EFI partition gets detected, and is assigned as N:\, and I can browse it fully, but it gets released when I close the windows. I need it to keep being assigned in order to boot from it.

Bonus question: How would I go about booting a separate bootloader located at /dev/sda3 through Win2Grub?

    I emailed the .7z file to 'drummerdp@users.sourceforge.net'.
