Hi - I'm trying to fit a hierarchical distance-sampling model in JAGS (based on code from Shirk et al. 2014). We're modeling spatial variation in density as a function of environmental features at two scales (transects, and segments within transects), and modeling long-term trends at a larger, regional scale.
