I'm enjoying VeroRoute to layout perfboard. Unfortunately the only Wire type in the program is horizontal or vertical. But I would like to make wire connections that can be any degree of diagonal, and also wires that bend multiple times along the path. Diagonal would also be nice for resistors. Also would be nice to have freely flexible wire (like silcone wire). I'm sorry if this request is out of the scope of this program.
And with wires, considering they are notmally insulated, it would be nice if could fit more than 1 wire between gridpoints...for instance 28 gaugae wire with insulation has a diameter of 1.2 mm, so could possibly fit two of them in for every 2.54 mm gridpoint.

Windows 10 now allow bluetooth midi for UWP apps via a new api: https://blogs.windows.com/buildingapps/2016/09/21/midi-enhancements-in-windows-10/ That page links to a Win32 wrapper for the UWP MIDI https://github.com/stammen/winrtmidi which allows regular Win32 desktop apps to utilize this new API. Is there or will there be any effort by PortMidi to support this? Many new midi devices are using bluetooth now. I don't see many commit updates to this PortMidi project, but MuseScore is currently relying...
