Hi Ruven, I had a conversation with the UV people on their Slack channel and they pointed out that the use of "full" as a work-around only works at the highest zoom level i.e. where REGION = x,y,256,256 The lower zoom levels construct the request like http://catalogue.nlie.ie/cgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?IIIF=000300000/000298263/vtls000298263_011.jp2/0,0,1024,1024/256,/0/default.jpg ...and so the region tile doesn't get the JTL handler. Can you think of any way to address that case? Thanks again. Eoin.

Hi Ruven, I dug a little further after your last message and figured out that because the IIIF request was ending with a SIZE value (even though this corresponded to the tile size) the request semmed to evaluated as false on line 537 of IIIF.cc - so it never reaches the JTL handler. Substitution of "full" into the SIZE request allows the test to pass. Output from the successful and unsuccessful requests below. I'll post onto the Universal Viewer forum to advise that group of the issue. I note though...

Hi Ruven, Thanks again for getting back. Yes, as you point out we are using JPEG2000 through the Kakadu library. The binaries were complied before I arrived at the library but my understanding is that they were made using the excellent instructions on sourceforge. I presume that as we are successfully decoding the J2K files that the library is is in fact loading properly and is being used by IIPserve. Dear all, Is anyone currently using IIIF protocol requests combined with dynamic watermarking? I'm having trouble configuring IIPserver v1 to serve tiles with watermarking enabled and would welcome a working example and configuration. Many thanks, Eoin.

I did as suggested and disabled memcaching and restarted the servers and cleared browser caches just for good measure but the watermark does not appear to be set when using the IIF protocol.
