2.3.1 (2.3.1) Crashes on scanning the folder /Users/Shared

I've been trying to dodge GrandPerspective's new behavior of showing a large part of my volumes as "Miscellaneous Used Space" so I've been permitting folders and performing First Aid with Disk Utility and running SuperDuper! to update the backup images versus the internal drive originals. I've discovered that when I select /Users/Shared for scanning, GP crashes very consistently.
