Thats correct, still working better now that the correct OS has been installed. Although, the SSD is playing a huge part.

I experimented with Lubuntu, Raspberry OS, and AntiX OS on this device. However, there were numerous aspects that left me dissatisfied. While each operating system had its merits and drawbacks, it was the day-to-day tasks that prompted me to repeatedly reformat and test new operating systems. Thankfully, with the assistance of the live CD version, the system performed as anticipated, and I have ultimately settled on an OS that effectively optimizes the performance of this aging netbook.
