I realize 7-Zip is licensed under the GNU GPL, which makes it both gratis and libre, even for commercial use. Can a company pay for commercial support anyway? Such a support agreement would provide legal liability protection against infringing code that might have been slipped in, and it would provide a named entity responsible for maintenance and support issues. WinZip and PowerArchiver both have successful business models, despite the fact that WinZip can't do half of what 7-Zip can do.
