I don't use / create installers, as the user usually needs wxPython anyway. If you find the bug, please inform me. Better use the github tracker, which is also linked from the help menu.

NameError: name'config' is not defined, etc.

It looks to me as if you try to run wxglade by executing the code in something like a shell window. Please run wxGlade e.g. by double-clicking the file wxglade.py or by a command line ' C:/Users/user/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python39/python.exe wxglade.py'

Could you please re-submit on Github? https://github.com/wxGlade/wxGlade/issues Did you try "Code to be inserted before" and "Code to be inserted after"?
