You don't need Eclipse at all to build the projects. I don't know if this is messing up things in your setup. I know what works though: Installing and configuring a JDK + installing and configuring maven. That's all you need for building the projects. I use Eclipse only for editing the code, not for building. Maven doesn't use the Eclipse provided compiler anyways. It uses the one provided by the JDK (whichever is currently on the path). I just remembered the Eclipse compiler did mess up my build...

Blake, I figured nigelgay might be a lone dev out of choice. Otherwise there'd be other devs on board already. But this is really no issue to me. I never volunteered to get on board to the project, as far as I know. ;-) I just developed what I wanted to and made my changes public. If I develop further stuff I will do it the same way. So, as I wrote in the other forum, nigelgay is free to completely ignore what I did. Or he might use some or all of my changes for his project. It's up to him alone....

Hi guys, in this post I want to provide some insights I discovered when I was trying to get the source to compile. I won't write a comprehensive step-by-step guide. I just want to give some pointers. You need a properly installed and configured JDK 11 or newer (If you don't know how to sccomplish this, please use your favourite search engine to find a guide for your operating system) You need maven installed and properly configured. Without at least a basic understanding on how maven works, you won't...
I'm Berahthraban at the other forum by the way.
Hi guys, while I understand the project structure well enough to get the project to compile. I read and understood only a very small portion of the code. It's big! I did a few very minor patches and read only what I needed for those. As I wrote at the other forum: I'm just grateful nigelgay / Implode started this project, stuck with it and made it free software. Cheers!
