@rjy I didn't get any further with GrandPerspective. I did get some help from the folks at Carbon Copy Cloner who suggested to use this command from the Terminal: sudo du -sh /Users/* /Users This command told me which user had all that Miscellaneous space. Comparing the "du" command output to what GrandPerspective showed me at the User level allowed me to work into the offending user account. I found a lot of stranded iPhone and iPad backups that were from replaced devices. Once I deleted those,...

I ran GrandPerspective as root to see what was taking up so much space on my iMac running OSX 10.13.6. (Unfortunately that is the last version of the OS that runs on this 12,2 iMac). When looking at both System Overview and GrandPerspective, I have about 116GB of data on the 1TB drive including all Users, Applications, System files etc. GrandPerspective shows an additional 331GB of Miscellaneous used space that I can't scan for some reason. I can't find it on the drive either. The System info show...

Thank you. What is "meta" on a Mac keyboard? We have only control, alt/option and command. I've tried all of those.

Just an FYI. Today while trying to access the various examples maps on the freeplane.org site, the link allows opening of following https://www.freeplane.org/mapsOnline/?map=freeplaneApplications.mm but there is only a blank page. I've tried with FF and Chrome (On Mac).

I was trying to add a free floating note in 1.7.13 (MacOS 10.14.6). When I press "Control", the menu pops up but no cursor is created that can add a note. I've tried "Command", "alt/option" and the same with "Shift" but nothing works. What do I need to do on the Mac to get a free floating node? Thanks

I updated to 1.7.13 today (on MacOS 10.14.6). Little Snitch caught a code signature change. See attached screenshot

I've recently found this issues a bit of a PITA. Is there a way to scale the remote screen view to fit in a Chicken window?

Hello @claur. I tried v1.9.1 and find that the start dates of many tasks have defaulted back to the first date of the project rather than what they were actually set. At the moment, I'm sticking with 1.8. Please let me know if you have any changes to test. I'm happy to try/test new versions.

@Laurent, what "part of the problems" has been resolved?

  • Nuke Nuke posted a comment on ticket #149

I have reverted back to 1.8 and all my files work as expected. I don't think I saved any file opened in 1.9 as I got so many error messages. So I don't know what happens when you've saved your file in v1.9 and try to revert to 1.8.

  • Nuke Nuke posted a comment on ticket #149

I have just tried to open the file on a Mac using v1.9 and I get the same error messages.

Laurent, it's a file from work so not sure about sharing as a post, but happy to send to you directly. Can you PM me your address? As to other details, please let me know what else you'd like to know. Happy to provide details as necessary. I installed v1.9 over 1.8 initially. Then I realized that both versions were somehow still installed. So I uninstalled v1.8. v1.9 didn't work. I had to reinstall v1.9 again. Then when I opened the files previously created under v1.8, I got the errors. Perhaps the...

I recently set up a Debian 9 VM (Dec 2017). I noticed that it locks up any browser I use to connect to it. I can have 1.870 with the authentic-theme running on a Debian 7 VM with out issue. When I switch to the old theme there is no issue. /usr/share/webmin/authentic-theme/index.cgi runs multiple threads (6+) and eat up all the CPU cycles. I've also noticed that it is dropping the connection to the browser regularly. How do I go about figuring out what is wrong? Thanks in advance.
