So, I have encrypted my windows with veracrypt. I have UEFI in my laptop. In the EFI drive Veracrypt creates a folder named "Veracrypt". So, anyone opening my EFI drive will clearly see that I have locked my computer with veracrypt. I want to hide this thing and change the name of the folder named veracrypt to something else . So, that I can have plausible deniability about using veracrypt folder. https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail...
In the BIOS version , it was very easy to have a blank screen veracrypt bootloader . We just had to tick a checkbox. But in the UEFI version it is very complicated . Could you please tell me how to edit he Veracrypt BootLoader configuration so as to have a blank screen in the veracrypt boot loader screen.
I used multiple tools like Bootice to delete/edit the Veracrypt Boot Loader . But It doesn't work. Using those tools the veracrypt bootloader gets deleted but upon restarting the system , it appears again. I even deleted the Veracrypt folder the EFI Folder , but it reappears after restarting the system . I even tried deleting it using bcdedit but it appears again after restarting the system It is getting very frustrating .
