thanks Ricky, I will take a look
Thanks Ricky, they suggest MAMP on the unicenta website for single terminals. I did eventually get mysql working but still couldnt get the database set up on unicenta. I think this is a bit beyond me so im going to stick with the paid epos system for now. Thanks for your help
Is there somebody who I can pay to set this up? I'm totally lost
Can anyone walk me through setting mamp and unicenta database up... Im totally lost and have tried for hours myself... thanks in advance. (just using a single terminal for restaurant style epos)
I think MAMP is set up, but dont know what settings to put into unicenta database to point to the MAMP thing?
I installed MAMP and it seems to be working, but then what???? not covered in any guides or anywhere on the web
thanks but video 1 is no help because the mysql downloads are not the same as that anymore, you open the installer and it is completely different and wont install.... this page no longer exists in mysql, the new installer has different options and then you get to a stage where next wont work and you can only go back or cancel????

For a complete beginner what is the easiest way to set up unicenta. I have a touchscreen till, windows 10, i think... Just need to run a simple pub epos and print receipts.
oh and I tried mamp download but again there's no instructions about how to set it up with unicenta
Tried following about 5 different help videos to set up a database and install unicenta but to no avail. I love the idea of unicenta but it assumes some basic understanding of how the software works. I'm going to give up and go back to my paid software for now. If anyone knows of an upto date help video would be very grateful?
