    Thanks for the sample, I think this could be usefull in other ways. I know a little basic programming, you know enough to be dangerous! I was able to use your python script, but I skipped from the bluetooth_status = subprocess line to the end and just used subprocess.run(['rfkill', 'toggle', 'bluetooth']) at the end. It worked as expected in a launcher in Mint (and terminal killblue, no sudo). I keep wanting to type in 'kill bill';) But when I put it on peppermint, checked permissions, etc. it would...

    Thanks for the reply. So far I’ve had minimal luck. I assumed the you meant /usr/bash in instead of /usrbash. I created the file, bluekill in /usr/bin and inserted the command you gave.     I’ve recently installed peppermintOS on my surface GO 3 after trying MXLinux and Mint. I like the fact that peppermint takes less resources. MX was too bloated for a tablet and Mint wouldn’t shut down properly. Anyway, trying to work on a tablet is ‘challenging’ especially system setup. I’m trying to make a xfce panel launcher to toggle Bluetooth off and on using the terminal command ‘rfkill toggle bluetooth’ which works from the terminal but I can’t get to work from a launcher.
