I'm not sure what is unclear from the description above. These specific properties are designed to be able to do a round trip (assigning correctly alternative translations) with a monolingual XLIFF and a TMX containing these properties. What happens if you use "Restore defaults" in File Filters? Or if you delete filterx.xml outside of OmegaT before launching it? Didier
I tried deleting filters.xml, using Restore defaults, still the same behaviour (both on 6.0 and 6.1). It's under Windows 11, Java 11 I attach the newly generated filters.xml Same behaviour also when deleting omegat.prefs Didier

I think it doesn't work with the HTML filter It does. That's one of the few (with the xml ones) filters that implement it. Didier
