Hi Dave, I think I figure out the problem about why Grub2Win (G2W) is not setting EFI boot entry on my disk. I think that the "final" routine, when sets the EFI boot entry, searches the EFI partition by LABEL and not by drive letter assigned, so if the label is missing or has another name different by "EFI" like, the routine cant set EFI boot entry correctly. If there are many EFI partitions, the routine jumps to the second one and if this is "valid" the EFI boot entry will make but linked to this...

This clearly shows the Grub2Win firmware entry at line 42 of the file. (I marked it) I do not know why your BIOS ignores this valid firmware entry. You may want to contact ASUS to find out why the firmware entry is ignored. Since G2W cant, I create myself the entry at line 42 with efibootmgr from linux so BIOS can see that entry. When I'm on Windows 7 G2W shows the orange message "Caution - Grub2Win is not set as your default EFI bootmanager". So from now G2W cant set correctly the EFI entry and...

Hi, My BIOS show me every boot entry of every EFI partition I have, I don't know why you tell about "Your firmware often cannot determine which is the "real" EFI partition." I have installed Grub2Win (G2W) with only one disk online with: Windows 7 installed, Windows 7 EFI loader into EFI partition, Windows 7 EFI boot entry visible from BIOS. Ubuntu installed, Ubuntu EFI loader into the same EFI partition, Ubuntu EFI boot entry visible from BIOS, G2W installed, G2W loader into the same EFI partition...

Strange behavior... I have all disks online.. Windows 11 disk sdd is missing into diagnostics... I'll update Grub2Win, rerun diagnostics and test mail issue also. Tanks from now.
