I'm not familiar with mercurial. Isn't it possible to merge into a different/new branch, even if my request targeting to default, like with git? Off course I can take a look if all actual variable instantiations are done in the right .c file where I have moved them out of the headers and replaced by there external definitions. Also I't not a big deal to create a fresh branch. On what branch/tag should a merge request base? Default or latest release? Regards Holger
