Hi Tom -- That's OK, I'm using a Linux build, but thanks for the offer!
I haven't been able to find a link for RC2 Windows binaries. I'm also unable to build from source on Windows due to this issue. The problem is that qt4 has been removed from the MSYS2 repo.
Thanks for this suggestion. It may be a feature that many users would like. But other users might complain about the increased resources required to compute and store data they didn't ask for. Maybe if node labels had voltage and current checkbox properties in addition to their name property, with the voltage checked and the current unchecked by default, the current behavior could be preserved, and the user could have the option of storing either current, voltage or both in the dataset. I agree that...
Ok -- I think I finally understand the issue! I think that when you add the tabular, you do it via drag and drop. After dropping it on the schematic, one might expect that the select tool (arrow) would automatically become active -- so clicking on the tabular would select it, displaying the corner handles, but this is not the current behavior. Instead, it is necessary first to click the select tool or press escape (which activates the select tool) to enter select mode. This behavior is not specific...
Sorry -- maybe I wasn't clear. You should add the variables to the table and hit "OK" to fill the table as you have been doing, but then after the populated table appears on your schematic, hit Esc to go back to select mode. Then you should be able to click on the table to select it. The corners should appear and you should be able to move or expand it. Best, Dow

Thanks Ulrich! I just installed Qucs 0.0.20 from http://ppa.launchpad.net/qucs/qucs/ubuntu precise, and still can't reproduce this issue on it. I added the tabular, adding just one dataset value. Then re-opened it and added some more values. After saving, the red arrow showed, but I was able to resize right away. It could be OS-specific, I guess, but maybe you could post your .sch file - it should be in $HOME/.qucs/your-project. I'm attaching the one I used to test. Best, Dow
It sounds like a bug in your version of Qucs. I can't reproduce it with my setup (Ubuntu 20.04, Qucs 0.0.20 built from current master). If you can let me know your OS and Qucs version, I can check to see if this is a known issue or if it should be reported. Best, Dow
