Well, I can't see the file on the PC, because it won't open, but both the iPhone and iPad have 423 entries in 10 groups. The PC has a 103 KB file modified at 5:48 pm as does the iPhone. Can't seem to get the iPad to tell me file size / time. And there's no doubt that I'm using the same Master Password.

I have used pwSafe for years on a collection of platforms, now sharing passwords between an iPhone 13, an old iPad, and a new Win 11 PC. The password database is installed in dropbox. The passwords can be accessed on the iPhone and the iPad, but not the PC. I point the [...} button to dropbox.pwsafe.psafe3. Then enter the Master Passwod. That gets an error message: Incorrect master password, not a Password Safe database, or corrupt database. Yet it works on the other two devices.

I've happily used pwSafe for some years sharing my passwords between PC and iPhone and iPad via Dropbox. I'm having to reload all software to PC because I had to "reset" it to get rid of malware. I've installed Dropbox and can see my files in it, including the pwSafe database. I connected to the database using the {...} button and choosing dropbox.pwsafe.psafe3. Then I entered my master password and got an error message: Incorrect master password, not a password safe database or corrupt database....

I've been using PWSafe since 2015 or so with no issues. I have three devices: a Windows 10 PC, an IOS 17.4 iPhone 13, and an iPad. The PC and the iPad work fine, but lately, I can't open the database on the iPhone. I've never changed the password. and it works fine on the PCand the iPad. The database files, etc. are stored in Dropbox. What could be wrong? David

Getting "Unable to create intermediate backup" and "Couldn't save database. Please save manually." Rony sent: Sounds like the simplest fix is to open your PasswordSafe database, and then use File->Save As... to create a new copy. Use that as your working safe, keeping the old one as backup. Let me know if you need more asistance. Database set of files is in my Dropbox, easy enough to find. What shall I name the new copy? What shall I rename the old copy to? Sorry to be such a novice!

Thanks for this! Unfortunately, I can't even find the folder! Assuming I can recreate the folder, what file name shall I save the pwSafe data under? It apparently still exists somewhere, because I can open the file with my password and view it, etc. It appears to be OK, EXCEPT the last one I changed, and I think I can recover that. If all else fails, I have a thumb drive backup that's "fairly" recent. On 2/27/2023 3:24 PM, Rony Shapiro wrote: Simplest fix is to delete the configuration file and associated...
