Never mind. I did some hunting around, and learned how to patch my way around this problem. The soluton is to delete the file on the USB stick at /EFI/boot/bootx64.efi, then rename "grubx64.efi" (same directory) to be "bootx64.efi". This apparently relates to my machine (Dell XPS8930) having an older BIOS (even though I install all the firmware updates Dell sends my way pretty promptly). Now Clonezilla works perfectly.
Hi. I downloaded the .zip file, and followed the instructions for creating a bootable USB Stick. But it won't boot ... something about a missing file. Any ideas? Oh -- I got the exact errpr message. Had to try to boot the USB stick 3 times so I could write it all down. It says: "Something has gone seriously wrong -- import_mok_state() failed: not found. Thanks!
