Yes, I'd very much like this as well. I have a 3GB/sec SSD running at half that speed right now. I've seen screenshots of DiskCryptor running near full speed, so it should be possible. That one just doesn't support EFI booting apparently. 1.6GB/sec isn't terrible, so I'm okay with it for now. My Benchmarks are: AES 50MB buffer 13.9GB/sec enc 16.3GB/sec dec, PKCS-5 PRF HMAC-SHA-512 988ms 500k iter, hash 50MB buffer SHA-512 525MB/sec.

Encryption test endless reboot loop until deleting DcsInfo on Dell Precision M4800

That was it! I booted into Linux, mounted the EFI system partition, deleted DcsInfo.dcs, and it successfully asked for the password and completed the test. Encrypting now... Thanks!

Oh, Windows 10 Pro, by the way.

So, I've just tried this latest 1.22 beta as well as the 1.21. On my Dell Precision M4800 laptop, the pre-test will just reboot the machine, continuing to reboot until I enter the boot menu and tell it to boot the standard GRUB bootloader. I have Linux Mint on another partition... the MultiBoot option is greyed out, but that's fine. I'll just convert the Mint install to LUKS later. It's a GPT UEFI system. It looks like it finds the dscboot.efi just fine, but reboots on starting it for some reason....
