I managed to resolve this by starting over and moving the mouse less, and for only 30 seconds, when creating the volume. That worked, the volume is created. However, when I mount it, it takes only a couple of seconds, and then the unmount button is there. But, I can't place files in the vault, so I assume it is not actually mounted. The icon shows a closed padlock in the finder.

New user here. On a Mac, went through default type setup for external drive encryption. Appears to be set up; the file or volume appears in the folder. Attempted to mount it; a message flashes this may take a while; about 5 minutes later, the application memory warning window appears, and text edit is using 64 GB of application memory. Unmounted. So, stuck. Ideas?

We have 3 Mac's, and use KeypassX on each. To keep the databases updated, I make the updates on one, and then go to the other two machines, delete the kdbx file, and copy in the updated one. This has worked fine, until now, of course. With one machine, I get the bad password or corrupted database message. But, the password is fine, and the database works on the other two machines. Not sure what to do now. Dan
