In order to run mbsebbs you must set the global variable $MBSE_ROOT. This variable must point to the root directory of the bbs structure. The main configuration file config.data must be present in the ~/etc directory.

First off, thanks to team (person/people) who are responsible for releasing this latest Window Maker Live! It is appreciated, I thought this project was dead and I am glad to see it isn’t. I am sure a lot of hard work went into this so thank you. My issue: I lose WiFi after apt upgrade. So I "burned" the wmlive-bookworm-0.96.0-0_amd64.iso to a 16GB USB Flash Drive and installed it on my Lenovo ThinkPad X250 laptop. All worked great out of the box.
