I've run into the same problem. The format was also not respected (it was always PNG). Would it be possible to gray out the filename template and format options if the engine isn't mpv?

I've just discovered the same issue on Linux, using the command line to update an archive that was created with encrypted filenames (-mhe=on). When I updated the archive, 7-Zip asked me for the password, twice. But when I checked the updated archive, I was surprised to find that, Filenames were no longer encrypted. The updated files new files that 7z added to the archive were not encrypted at all! Only the existing files remained encrypted, but the filenames were visible. This is a MAJOR ISSUE. @ipavlov,...

@Lex - I don't believe that addresses the OP's feature request. What I'm looking for is simply remembering the line:column position in the recent files, and placing the cursor there when re-opening a file, instead of at 1:1. Currently, if you scroll down in a file, close it, and immediately open it again, the cursor will be reset to 1:1.
While Sourceforge has been a good host for many open source projects, the vast majority of developers are on GitHub today. Google Code and Microsoft's Codeplex have both shut down and moved their projects to GitHub. This week I looked into the state of diff tools on Linux. Turns out there's no clear winner, but Diffuse is closest to that position. It needs more developers though, and GitHub can offer that much needed exposure.
This feature is critical! Diffuse doesn't support word wrapping, or splitting the view horizontally. Without a line vs. line diff, it's impossible to use for files with long lines. I've attached a screenshot of how CompareIt! does this.

SmartSynchronize takes 4.5 seconds, and Diffuse 1.5. Kompare chokes. And here's a blog post summarizing the state of Linux diff tools performance. Pretty appalling.
Nicer "moved line" bubbles, a la Meld
Show only whitespace, but not newlines
The giraffe is a bit weird, but it's the only app I've ever used that has a photo of an animal as an icon, so it's distringuishable enough.

Very slow performance comparing CSV files - 50x slower than CompareIt
