Correct, I should have been clearer, it was the unclickability of the button in Output>Individual Controls > [Connection/Format] that made me realise something was wrong. Having checked everything, I don't know where I've gone wrong. As far as an encoder is concerned libmp3lame-dev is installed. Though I've copied across config data, it should be good as both versions of IDJC are 0.9.5

After having successfully installed this on one machine running Ubuntu MATE 22.04 I'm having issues installing on a different machine. libshout-idjc is present in libdir/lib64 but when I try to make IDJC I get the same error as in my initial request for support. I installed the version of libshout-idjc that's in the Ubuntu repositiory. I'm a bit stumped by as everything should be in the right place, but obvioulsy IDJC doesn't think so when I come to make the package. I have followed your posted solutions,...

Thank you for your prompt response. Troubleshooting was set to reconnect, and turning that off resulted in a slight improvement, but still some drop-out. I also tried shutting down all the OpenSimulator servers and just running IDJC and the stream ran perfectly with no drop-outs, so it would seem to be a network related issue. I run Mixxx on a different machine, which only runs that application, nothing else, and that also plays perfectly - I tried to install JDJC on that machine but for some reason...

I used to regularly use IDJC to broadcast a stream back in 2010 - 2012 and it was a breeze to set up. Wanting to do this again, I installed IDJC and jacd and attempted to set it up using this tutorial, which is very clear and straightforward: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1434555&highlight=idjc Trying to use that very clear tutorial gets me nowhere now - and to be quite honest, I'm now clueless as to how to set it all up. All the tutorials I've found online are hoplessly out of date,...
