Hi Anobium, Here's where I set up and then test the PWM output. I need 4 channels, but I use only one for the test. The chip is running at 20MHz with a resonator (checked) and I've tried various numbers of cycles, but always get the 1.3mS cycle time.

Hi All, I've got a board with four stepper motors that I'm driving with the software PWM code as given in the GCB command list. The equation for the pulse rate calculares out as 13.6uS per cycle (20 MHz clock and no delay), but I see about 1.3mS cycle time pulses on the output. Is the cycle time equation incorrect, or am I missing some important setting?

Many thanks for your support - the bootloader is now working well!

OK, but where do I find the TMB bootloader hex file for the 16F877A?

Hi Anobium, I was trying to input the bootloader that is offered in the 'Firmwares' menu of TMB. Here is a screen grab of my settings. Perhaps this does not work?

Hi All, I'm trying to upload the bootloader for the 16F877A in TMB+, but the TMB program keeps reporting that it can't find a 16F877A. I'm using the PicKit3 program in TMB and the settings look OK, but I'm only offered the 16F877 and not the 'A' version. Is this the problem and is there a solution please?

Thanks Anobium - I'll give that a try.

Hi, I have a 18F16Q40 that is sending PWM signals to RC servos. I would like to temporarily disable the pulse streams without affecting the PWM register settings, but the PWM1CON bit 7 disable command clears everything. Does anyone have a good method of avoiding having to re-load everything when enabling? Thanks!
