Because my assumption was that the IFC4 Design Transfer View was the only MVD with editing in mind. Is there any difference as to how IfcOpenShell treats IFC4 vs IFC2x3 in terms of authoring/editing?

Hi, I've been wondering whether IfcOpenShell allows authoring as well? For example, can I use IfcOpenShell to add elements like an IfcWindow to my model, possibly even with a set of properties relating to it? Cheers!
